Enrollment for Student mobility for Traineeships within the Erasmus+ programme in the academic year 2017/18 is open between 11.05.2017 to 22.06.2017 at the University of Lodz.



Documents required from full-time international students/”recent graduates” of the Univeristy of Lodz wishing to realize their traineeship within the Erasmus+ Programme in 2017/18 academic year:

1.Filled-in application form Application-form-Traineeship-2017_2018

2.Learning-Agreement-for-traineeships-2017_18 During the recruitment session the LAT should be signed by the student, the receiving institution and ECTS coordinator from the UL. Please include the arranged dates of the traineeship (day/month/year).

  1. Motivation letter written in English, addressed to the Recruitment Committee. It should contain: the description of the receiving institution, the time and place of traineeship, a list of the benefits from carrying out the planned traineeship, as well as the effects of the traineeship on the work competences and student’s opportunity on the labour market. Please refer also to the working language of the traineeship.
  2. Consent of the Bachelor/Master’s/Doctoral thesis advisor on undertaking the traineeship (in the case of UL’s students who apply for traineeship mobility during the last year of their studies)
  3. Language certificate or written confirmation of student’s language competences, issued by the language teacher.  In case of lack of the abovementioned documents, there are organized interviews in the working language of the traineeship.
  4. Checklist-2017_18

The above set of documents should be submitted to the International Relations Office of the University of Lodz, room No. 7 or 7a, no later than 22.06.2017.  The documents submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

The traineeships mobility within the Erasmus+ programme in the 2017/18 academic year can be pursued by a “recent graduate” of the UL, who is to have graduated until 30th September 2017, which is the last day of the academic year 2016/17, according to the Rector’s Regulation Nr 82 of the 19th May 2014 on the division of the University of Lodz’s academic year 2016/17.

The duration of a traineeship by recent graduates counts towards the 12 months maximum, of the cycle during which they apply for the traineeship.

Going abroad for the Erasmus+ traineeship helps students develop their professional, social and intercultural skills and increase their employability.

Each Erasmus+ student will be given an Erasmus Student Charter by their sending university or higher education institution. The Student Charter highlights the rights and obligations of students participating in Erasmus+. It informs Erasmus+ students about what they are entitled to and what is expected of them during their secondment for studies and/or for a traineeship.

In particular, the Erasmus Student Charter outlines the basic entitlements of the Erasmus+ students, such as free tuition and full recognition of studies or traineeship abroad. The Charter also specifies the main obligations of the Erasmus+ students, providing them with a concise idea of their duties with regard to both their sending and receiving higher education institutions/enterprise.

2016/17

Rules for Student Mobility for Traineeships 2016_17

Documents required from full-time international students/”recent graduates” of the Univeristy of Lodz wishing to realize their traineeship within the Erasmus+ Programme in 2016/17 academic year:

2014/15

Enrollment for Student mobility for Traineeships within the Erasmus+ programme in the academic year 2014/15 is open between 26th March to 16th May 2014 at the University of Lodz.

Rules for Student Mobility for Traineeships 2014_15

Documents required from full-time international students/”recent graduates” of the Univeristy of Lodz wishing to realize their traineeship within the Erasmus+ Programme in 2014/15 academic year:

1. filled-in application form Application form Traineeship 2014_15,
2. description of the receiving institution with a letter of preliminary consent on hosting the student for the traineeship,
3. motivation letter highlighting benefits which the student may gains  from the traineeship (such as obtaining work experience, improving individual competences),
4. references on the proposed receiving institution,
5. description of the proposed traineeship given by the traineeship supervisor at the home Faculty or the ECTS Coordinator,
6. languages certificates.

In the case of the last year students of a second study cycle or uniform Master’s degree studies, additionally, a consent of the Master’s thesis supervisor is required.

Above set of documents should to be sumbitted to the International Relations Office of the University of Lodz, room No. 11, no later than 16th May 2014r.  The documents sumbitted to the IRO of the UL after the deadline will not be accepted.

The traineeships mobility within the Erasmus+ programme in the 2014/15 academic year can be realised by a “recent graduate” of the UL, who is to have graduated until 30th September 2014, which is the last day of the academic year 2013/14, according to the Rector’s Regulation Nr 109 of the 24th April 2013 on the division of the University of Lodz’s academic year 2013/14.

The duration of a traineeship by recent graduates counts towards the 12 months maximum of the cycle during which they apply for the traineeship.

Going abroad for the Erasmus+ traineeship helps students develop their professional, social and intercultural skills and increase their employability.
