Student Mobility for Traineeships within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme (programme countries): Rules of enrolment for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Rules of enrolment 2019 Erasmus+ Traineeship

Between 15 May 2019 and 15 April 2020, documents required at the enrolment stage will be collected by the International Relations Office. The assessment and selection process for traineeship mobility will be carried out periodically by the Institutional Recruitment Committee.

Traineeship mobilities may be carried out between 1 August 2019 and 30 September 2020 as a student or a recent graduate of the UL.

The set of required documents at the enrolment stage:
1) application form
2) motivation letter
3) Statement of international mobility pursued to date
4) Learning Agreement for Traineeships_2019_20, Before the Mobility section, as agreed and signed by three parties (a scan is acceptable),
5) a certificate, or other document attesting the knowledge of the foreign language being the medium of the traineeship (in individual cases, interviews may be arranged in order to verify the proficiency level);
6) Checklist_ 2019_20 document with rating points for Learning Agreement for Traineeships, signed by the ECTS Coordinator,
7) thesis supervisor’s consent for departure (applies only to students outgoing in the last year of each study cycle)
8) GDPR declaration/privacy notice

The schedule of selection and assesment of required documents
– documents submitted at the UL IRO till 14 June 2019 shall be assessed till 30 June 2019,
– documents submitted at the UL IRO till 15 October 2019 shall be assessed till 31 October 2019,
– documents submitted at the UL IRO till 15 January 2020 shall be assessed till 31 January 2020,
– documents submitted at the UL IRO till 15 April 2020 shall be assessed till 30 April 2020.

Since 2018 it is also possible for students and recent graduates (from all disciplines) to apply for an traineeship to acquire digital skills  and competences required to perform jobs and thrive in an economy and society which is being continuously digitally transformed.

„Any traineeship will be considered as a “traineeship in digital skills” when one or more of the following activities are practised by the trainee: digital marketing (e.g. social media management, web analytics); digital graphical, mechanical or architectural design;  development of apps, software, scripts, or websites; installation, maintenance and management of IT systems and networks; cybersecurity; data analytics, mining and visualisation; programming and training of robots and artificial intelligence applications. Generic customer support, order fulfilment, data entry or office tasks are not considered in this category.” – in accordance with the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, page 34

Traineeship offers sent to the IRO’s UL

The duration of a traineeship by recent graduates counts towards the 12 months maximum, of the cycle during which they apply for the traineeship.

Going abroad for the Erasmus+ traineeship helps students develop their professional, social and intercultural skills and increase their employability.
