Rules for the additional enrollment for the Erasmus+ student mobility for traineeships in the academic year 2018/19

The additional enrollment for Student mobility for Traineeships within the Erasmus+ programme in the academic year 2018/19 is open between 16 July to 30 September 2018 at the University of Lodz. The traineeships may be taken between 1 November 2018 and 30 September 2019. 

In order to take part in the additional enrollment for the Erasmus+ student mobility for traineeships, you should submit the set of required documents to the International Relations Office UL, room 6 (not later than 30 September 2018).  

The incomplete documents or submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Please type all required documents:

1. Filled-in Application form Traineeship 2018_2019

2. Learning-Agreement-for-traineeships-2018_19 During the recruitment session the LAT should be signed by the student, the receiving institution and ECTS coordinator from the UL. Please include the arranged dates of the traineeship (day/month/year).

3. Motivation letter written in English, addressed to the Recruitment Committee. It should contain: the description of the receiving institution, the time and place of traineeship, a list of the benefits from carrying out the planned traineeship, as well as the effects of the traineeship on the work competences and student’s opportunity on the labour market. Please refer also to the working language of the traineeship.

4. Consent of the Bachelor/Master’s/Doctoral thesis advisor on undertaking the traineeship (in the case of UL’s students who apply for traineeship mobility during the last year of their studies)

5.Language certificate or written confirmation of student’s language competences, issued by the language teacher.  In case of lack of the abovementioned documents, there are organized interviews in the working language of the traineeship.

6. Checklist_ 2018_19 – the form is to be completed by the Recruitment Committee, except from the basic data, which should be enter by the Student and  place for the evaluation of the Learning Agreement for Traineeships (LAT)’ by  ECTS Coordinator or the placement supervisor. The student should ask the ECTS Coordinator or the placement supervisor to evaluate the LAT.

Since 2018 it is also possible for students and recent graduates (from all disciplines) to apply for an traineeship to acquire digital skills  and competences required to perform jobs and thrive in an economy and society which is being continuously digitally transformed.

„Any traineeship will be considered as a “traineeship in digital skills” when one or more of the following activities are practised by the trainee: digital marketing (e.g. social media management, web analytics); digital graphical, mechanical or architectural design;  development of apps, software, scripts, or websites; installation, maintenance and management of IT systems and networks; cybersecurity; data analytics, mining and visualisation; programming and training of robots and artificial intelligence applications. Generic customer support, order fulfilment, data entry or office tasks are not considered in this category.” – in accordance with the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, page 32
